Sprouting Good is the vision created by Scott to help reduce the devastating impact on those youth who find themselves on the street with little hope of picking up the pieces of their lives through Urban Rooftop Farming with a built in life skills program. Scott’s passion for Urban Food Cultivation comes from the understanding of importance to secure our food supply with a dream to eliminate deaths from malnutrition in the developing world. Originally from the Sutherland Shire in Sydney, Scott started his working career in the retail sector earning the title of store manager for Toys R Us Australia operating stores around Australia for over 13yrs. In May 2010 Scott developed the concept of having singles meet in groups while doing something they enjoy & devised the plan to create Group2date which became a business when the site launched in 2010, with the ultimate goal of helping people to find love & alleviate the risky and awkward processes that go hand in hand with online dating. In January 2013 Scott decided to cease the operating of Group2date & pursue a lifes legacy in helping to positively change the world through the creation of Sprouting Good. Scott has received experience in the Not For Profit Sector with Make A Wish Australia and was president of the South Sydney branch. He even made a few appearances as Flossy, the MAW mascot.
